I've found a lot of youth hostels in Vietnam on the web. Has anybody stayed in any ? Are they clean and nice to stay in or generally not so recommendable?
Would be interested if it's worth going to a youth hostel or better to stay in a cheap travelers lodge. In Thailand, for example, there are a lot of decent cheap places on the trail.
