Mr. Irvin, expect that usually happens in forums. Sometimes, these posters are just "fakes" who wanted to send spam message or just annoy people. Well, if you want you can use a temporary or fake e-mail to contact them at first, if they responded and things go out well then do or make a transaction with them. If necessary ask for a website or any legal identification that they are indeed owners of such establishments. Be cautious and vigilant on the web.
i can't stand people who like to waste other people time.
Would anyone recommend rooming with people they don't know in a country they don't live in? Do you think it is too dangerous to try?
Do background checking first before trusting a person, especially if that person is a new to you. It is ok to trust but never go beyond the orders. It is better to be safe than to be sorry.
If you are looking to rent or buy a home or deal with real estate, be warned that there are really many con men in the industry. Yes, there could be the genuine ones but it is better to use sighting to identify property for sale. That way, you can ascertain the true condition of the property in question and also save on costs. There are several online real estate classifieds too.
Mandel, I think chances are we will all want to live with people we have a little background information of. The compatibility test is what I would recommend for you. It is not advisable to just move in with strangers but who knows, it could work for you. If there are no photos of the properties in question provided, why would you waste time on the same? Contact people you can rely on. If the phone lines do not seem to be going through, try the email.
