Vietnamese pride themselves on their medical and health care institutions. They have highly trained physicians from China´s best medical degree programs. As a socialist country, meaning that everything is controlled by the central government, the medical environment is very good. before you go there, though, check out your vaccines, very important. There is a wide range of tropical diseases to protect yourself from. Everything from malaria to cholera, check out the embassy recommendations. Watch what you drink! be careful what ice they put in your glass, that´s where the danger is sometimes.
