For more details go to www.militaryvideo.com Video covers day-to-day activities at Da Nang Air Base during the Vietnam War, from both the Air Force and Marine Corps sides of the base. The quality of the video is excellent and includes incredible aerial views (approximately 15 minutes worth) of the entire base. Also includes film footage of the Marines coming into Da Nang in 1965. There are also great shots of numerous areas on the base including: 23rd Air Base Group Headquarters, 15th Aerial Port Squadron passenger terminal, 366th Tactical Fighter Wing Warriors Command Post, Camp Da Nang, 41st Wing, 14th Tactical Fighter Squadron, mess buindings, living and recreation facilities, and much more. |

| I have seen the present Da Nang and it was far different from Da Nang in the past. It was new information for me. Perhaps Da Nang has been a great part in the history of Vietnam especially the military people who were stationed there way back 1965-1970. | Vietnam has a very interesting history and its government sure knew how to make use of it and turn it into a tourist attraction to improve its economy. Now, a lot of tourists visit Vietnam just to see these historical tourist spots and learn more about how the Vietnamese soldiers triumphed over their enemies during the war. Now, no one wants to go to war because they learned from the lessons of their forefathers. |
